We have a number of older buildings which are complemented by modern designs including specialist teaching facilities.

More recently, amongst other projects, an Astroturf playing surface and a 25m indoor swimming pool have been constructed. A second indoor 20m pool has recently been added. A second floodlit Astroturf hockey pitch will open in Autumn 2013.

These complement the two sports halls and fitness suite, as well as the outdoor pitches and courts on this 50 acre site.
The Science Department has undergone extensive modernisation and refurbishment to provide 21st century teaching facilities. An Engineering Department is planned for 2016/7, incorporating Physics, Design and Technology (with its two new design studios and an extended workshop), Mathematics and Information Technology.

A new, expanded Art building is planned for 2014/5. Modern Languages and the library will be upgraded. The latter will become a Learning Resources Centre which will support pupils’ study and research needs.

The Arts Centre and Theatre are well established parts of the School and we have added an extra wing to the Music Department to cater for more technology, practice and performance space.

The girls' and boys' boarding accommodation have both been extended and upgraded to cope with increased demand. A new girls’ boarding house was opened in September 2011.
We have a thriving Sixth Form Centre which is regularly refurbished in consultation with our pupils.

All departments and boarding houses have been provided with network access and ICT teaching equipment to suit their needs.

Elsewhere the facilities are continually upgraded. The School is exceptionally well equipped and enjoys a spacious 56-acre site.
